Today - Urs Mubarak - 18th Dai al-Mutlaq *Syedna Ali Shamsuddin* bin Syedna Abdullah Fakhruddin RA ~ The most calamitous and distressing episode during the period of Syedna Ali RA was the split caused by the treason of Jafar in Hind. This was the first major split in Da'wat during the period of _Satr_. His tenure as a Dai al-Mutlaq was 10 years 3 months and 27 days. He passed to darul-baqa on 3rd Safar ul-Muzaffar 832H ie 1428AD. 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa RA built a magnificent mausoleum of Syedna Ali RA in 1428H ie 2007AD during His visit to Yemen on His 96th Milad Mubarak.
