He introduced the practice of recitation of *taqarrub* after every farizat namaaz and also introduced the recitation of Surah Yaseen and also *Innallah* after fajr namaaz. They have become an essential part of our routine today. He became *Hafiz-ul-Qur'an* by the age of 10 and excelled in the "*Ilm-e-Tajweed*" (pronouncing the Arabic words properly according to the Grammer and the parts of speech). His tenure as Dai al-Mutlaq was 6 years, 6 months & 3 days and expired on 4th Safar-ul-Muzaffar 1200H in *Burhanpur* .
